This global electronics and computer manufacturer had been trading with Amazon UK for many years. However, in the 12 months before working with us they had seen their UK revenue decline significantly.
In addition to declining sales, their in-house ecommerce team were finding it challenging with the amount of time it took to update, monitor and report on time-intensive tasks, including Amazon advertising and catalogue management. They came to us seeking support for their existing team and to not only stabilise their Amazon account, but to grow UK sales through both organic and paid search.
The first step we took was to fully optimise their existing Amazon catalogue and boost SEO. We then built a new Amazon Store to improve the customer experience, which in turn also supported our Sponsored Brand advertising strategy. We also helped them with catalogue management by adding and optimising new ASINs to their account and helped them achieve SIOC certification. SIOC certification provided many benefits, including reduction of Amazon prep chargeback fees, reduced packaging costs and inbound transportation costs.
We also worked on improving their advertising performance, by creating new Sponsored Brand campaigns, as well as optimising existing campaigns. We ensured our advertising strategy met the overall business objectives to increase sales and promote new-to-brand orders.
Within four months of working with this global TV brand, our Amazon team managed to grow quarterly Amazon revenue by over 400%! After the first year of working with them, we maintained this momentum, increasing their average YoY sales by over 370%.
